ONSN offers a variety of membership categories to suit your background and career stage. Find the category that best aligns with your needs:

Certified Oncology Nurse

Open to professionals who are:

  • Certified to practice as an oncology nurse
  • Practicing oncology or oncology related care in hospitals, clinics, or research settings.
  • Working in educational institutions within the country.
  • Have relevant post-qualification training.

Registered Nurse Member

Open to nurse professionals who are:

  • Registered nurses in Nigeria actively involved in cancer care, including those working in hospitals, clinics, research settings, or educational institutions.
  • Registered nurses who are passionate and interested in oncology care.
  • Nurses who are currently studying to become certified as oncology nurses.

Nursing Student Member

Open to students who are:

  • Recognised as undergraduates across accredited nursing institutions in the county
  • Postgraduate nursing students enrolled in accredited oncology programs and programs related to oncology care, such as radiation & health physics, radiation biology, biomedical engineering, and radiation protection
  • Nursing students who are interested in oncology nursing

Cancer Care Professional Member

Open to persons who are:

  • Professionals from various disciplines who contribute to oncology care, including social workers, patient navigators, and allied health professionals.
  • Non-professionals who are informally involved in oncology care within the country.

Survivor/Caregiver Member

ONSN recognize the invaluable role of survivors and caregivers in the cancer care journey. This category provides a platform for these individuals to connect with the oncology community and access educational resources.

Institutional Member

Hospitals, clinics, educational institutions, and health care organizations dedicated to advancing oncology care can join as institutional members.

International Member

Registered nurses of Nigerian origin or background who practice outside of Nigeria

Renew Your Membership

Membership is renewed annually. Renew your membership with ONSN in four simple steps:

  1. Click on the renewal link : This will take you to a page where you will be asked to provide your login details.
  2. Log in to your profile: Provide your login details to your profile
  3. Select your membership category: Select the membership category that you wish to renew and proceed to payment
  4. Submit Payment: Upon renewal approval, you will receive a notification and can proceed with secure online payment of your membership renewal due.
