Our History

Explore the evolution of The Oncology Nursing Society of Nigeria(ONSN) since its first establishment in 2018, with a visionary goal that stemmed from a profound desire to  shape a future involving professionals in Nigeria concerned with cancer care. The founder envisioned a supportive community where oncology nurses could share knowledge, advance their skills and elevate the standards of cancer care across Nigeria.

In June 2024, the ONSN experienced a significant rejuvenation, revitalizing its mission and renewing its commitment to fostering excellence in oncology nursing in Nigeria. The rejuvenated ONSN continues to strive for a future where every oncology care provider is equipped with the necessary resources and recognition to deliver the highest quality of care to cancer survivors in Nigeria.
