Mustapha Aliyu is a seasoned oncology nurse with more than 17 years of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. His expertise spans oncology nursing, palliative care, chemotherapy administration, brachytherapy, and nursing informatics.

He holds a BNSc from the National Open University of Nigeria and a Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing from the National Hospital, Abuja. A Fellow of the Institute of Palliative Medicine, India, he has been instrumental in developing oncology services in Nigeria, including leading the establishment of the brachytherapy unit at UMTH.

As Director of Education for ONSN, Mustapha leads initiatives that strengthen oncology nursing knowledge, research, and training across the country. He is also the Regional Director (Northeast) of ONSN and an active member of SIOP Africa, contributing to research advancement, mentorship of intern nurses, and national policy advocacy in cancer care.
