Registered Oncology Nurse, from prestigious School of Post Basic Oncology Nursing at National Hospital Garki Abuja. Attained my Bachelor of Nursing Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho. Principal Nursing Officer at Radiation and Oncology Department, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria. I am committed to continuous learning, research involvement, mentorship and participation in professional development.

What is the Oncology Nursing Society of Nigeria (ONSN)?

ONSN is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in cancer care  across Nigeria. We strive to create a unified and growing community of oncology nurses through professional development, collaboration, and advocacy for high-quality cancer care.

ONSN was founded in 2018 and formally relaunched in June 2024.

 

Membership is open to registered nurses, student nurses, cancer survivors, cancer care advocates, and any individual or institution with an interest in the cancer space.

You can become a member by visiting our website and following the direct link to the registration page. Membership is on a yearly basis, with the following fees:

  • General Membership: ₦10,000
  • Student Membership: ₦5,000
  • Institutional Membership: ₦50,000
  • Diaspora Membership: ₦50,000

Members gain exclusive access to professional development programs, networking opportunities, and the latest research in oncology. You will also be part of a collective voice advocating for improved cancer care policies in Nigeria.

Our mission is to advance oncology nursing in Nigeria through education, advocacy, and collaboration to ensure high-quality care for cancer patients.

Our core goals are to promote education, research development,  facilitate collaboration, disseminate knowledge, empower nurses, and build a strong professional network.
